peaceful co -existence, promoting unity and progress of our country, Nigeria.
The statement read in part,
“We need to stand united and I am optimistic that our dear Nigeria will attain greatness despite the many challenges bedeviling her. As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with our families, friends, and love ones, we must never forget our country and her leadership in prayers.
Mr Rasaq , while felicitating with the Muslim adherents, urged every Nigerian to show tolerance saying that was the only way peace could reign. This is indeed a period of sacrifice and reflection. I enjoin muslims to emulate the virtues of total obedience, sacrifice in both faiths, and altruistic service as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed (SAW) . No doubt, Nigeria is meant for greatness”,
