Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, has emphasized the importance of healthy eating as the foundation for wellness, strength, confidence, and lasting beauty.
She made the call in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday during the launch of Beauty Bites: Practical Guide to Maximizing Nutrition for Aesthetic Youthful Glow, a book authored by Ekiti State Chief Nutritionist, Dr. Bolanle Olorunyomi. Represented by the Director-General, Civic Orientation, Mrs. Olawumi Famuyiwa, Dr. Oyebanji congratulated the author, describing the work as a “communal victory” that reinforces Ekiti’s identity as a “fountain of knowledge.”

She urged participants not only to buy the book but also to practice and share its lessons, noting that it serves as both a guide and a conversation starter on healthy living.
In her remarks, Dr. Olorunyomi said the book was inspired by her professional experience, which showed that many health challenges are linked to poor dietary habits. She stressed that proper nutrition is key to preventing avoidable diseases and promoting overall wellbeing.
The event was attended by the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Olabanji Filani, alongside serving and retired Permanent Secretaries.
