A People’s Democratic Party’s political group in Ekiti State under the auspices of Funmi Ogun Political Renaissance, has congratulated the former Works’ commissioner, Ogun Funmilayo Theresa(OFT), on the occasion of her birthday.
The group described the former State Secretary of the PDP as a divine blessing to her family, state and Nigeria at large, considering her remarkable and meritorious services to the nation, God and humanity.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Public Secretary of the group and Special Adviser on Media to the former commissioner, Oladimeji Olayinka.
Paying glowing tributes to the cerebral female politician, the group saluted Funmi Ogun’s political trajectory, which it said was stupendously beneficial to the state when opportunity availed to serve the people.
The group maintained that her contributions as a Special Assistant to the governor and commissioner remained a microcosm in leadership and in the history of the state.
It stated further that the former Commissioner was one of the few disciples and leaders that failed to betray the PDP’s cause, when others sold out, describing this as hallmark of honesty, trustworthiness and steadfastness in service.
They prayed to God to grant the celebrant more wisdom, sound health and remarkable mental state to continue to contribute more to humanity.
In their glowing tribute, Olayinka further alluded to the politician as someone who can be trusted with power and who never demonstrated any habit to show that she was a fair weather politician.
