Today, I join my siblings, family members, friends and well-wishers across the world to celebrate a truly remarkable woman, our beloved mother, Mrs. Roseline Ibitoye, as she marks her 77th birthday.
Mummy, words are not enough to express our profound gratitude for the love, care, sacrifices, support and encouragement you have consistently shown us throughout our lives. You have been more than a mother; you have been our pillar, our strength, our teacher and a constant source of inspiration.
When our father passed away in 2002, we, your children, thought the market had been scattered and that the journey ahead would be too difficult to navigate. But you stood firm in Christ . You took up the responsibility with courage, determination and unwavering faith, ensuring that none of us lacked the love, guidance and proper upbringing we needed.
You nurtured us, supported our dreams, encouraged us whenever we felt discouraged and taught us the values of hard work, discipline, perseverance and respect for others. Your sacrifices may not always have been visible to the world, but we, your children, know the price you paid to see us become responsible and useful members of the society.
Today, Iya eta, we can confidently say that your labour was not in vain. You planted good seeds, watered them with love and sacrifice, and today you are witnessing the fruits of your labour.
Iya Ẹta, Iya Nike, Iya Veronica, Iya Law, we celebrate you today not only for attaining 77 years but for the remarkable legacy of motherhood you have built over the years.
At 77, may the Almighty God strengthen you, preserve your health, renew your strength and grant you many more beautiful years to enjoy the fruits of your labour. May you continue to eat the good of the seeds you have sown and witness even greater accomplishments in the lives of your children and grandchildren.
May your remaining years be filled with peace, joy, sound health, laughter and abundant blessings. You have given so much to us; now, may God give you every reason to smile and enjoy the rewards of your sacrifices.
