87-year-old member of the Felomina Society, St John’s Catholic Church, Ilupeju Ekiti, Mrs Catherine Aina Ayinde, has appreciated God for His guidance, protection and provision for her, her children and the entire family.
Mrs Ayinde disclosed this at a thanksgiving service, held at Saint John’s Catholic Church, Ilupeju Ekiti,on Sunday. She appreciated God for sustaining her family since the demise of her husband.
Mrs Ayinde could not hide her joy during the service and at home as she danced enthusiastically to the glory of God, with members of the church and well-wishers joining her in celebrating the occasion.
The octogenarian also used the occasion to appreciate her children for their love, care and support, applauding them for taking good care of her and ensuring her wellbeing. She prayed to God to continually protect and bless her children, saying they’re her pride and mirror.
Reverend Father offered prayers for Mrs Ayinde and her family, committing them into the hands of God and praying for continued protection, good health, peace and prosperity.
The thanksgiving celebration later moved to Mrs Ayinde’s residence along Ire Road, Ilupeju Ekiti, where she hosted members of the Felomina Society, friends of her children, family members and other well-wishers.The gathering provided an opportunity for family members, friends and members of the society to celebrate with the 87-year-old and give thanks to God for His faithfulness and preservation of her life.
The atmosphere at the residence was filled with joy, appreciation and thanksgiving as Mrs Ayinde continued to receive prayers and goodwill from those who came to celebrate the special occasion with her.
