The Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon. Bamidele Fadugba, has celebrated the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his 57th birthday.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Fadugba commended Governor Oyebanji for his exemplary leadership, describing him as a selfless leader who is dedicated to the welfare of the people.
He highlighted the Governor’s recent directive, urging friends, well-wishers, and politicians to forgo gifts and newspaper advertisements in honour of his birthday and instead donate to the state’s three Special Schools as a mark of people-centred and compassionate leader.
“This thoughtful gesture underscores the Governor’s compassion and his commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable members of our society. It reflects his prioritization of impactful governance over personal accolades, a rare quality in today’s leadership,” Hon. Fadugba stated.
He further lauded Governor Oyebanji’s administration for its recent implementation of the new minimum wage for workers in Ekiti State, a move he described as a testament to the Governor’s dedication to improving the livelihoods of public servants.
“The payment of the new minimum wage is a clear indication of Your Excellency’s resolve to prioritize workers’ welfare and promote equity and dignity in the workplace. This is indeed a remarkable way to mark your birthday, by giving hope and joy to families across the state,” he said.
Hon. Fadugba reiterated his commitment to aligning with Governor Oyebanji’s vision for Ekiti State, assuring the people of Moba Local Government of continued collaboration with the state government to drive development and progress.
“On behalf of the good people of Moba Local Government, I extend our heartfelt wishes to Your Excellency. May you be blessed with good health, divine wisdom, and the strength to continue leading Ekiti State on the path of growth and prosperity,” he submitted.
The Moba LG Boss also lauded the Governor’s dedication to good governance, infrastructure development, youth empowerment and education for special needs children and workers’ welfare which have positively impacted the lives of Ekiti residents.
