
The Executive Chairman of Ekiti East Local Government and Chairman of the Ekiti State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Segun Ojo, has felicitated the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, on the joyous occasion of her 67th birthday.
In a congratulatory message on behalf of all local government chairmen in Ekiti State, Hon. Ojo described Chief Afuye as “a dedicated, loyal, resourceful and visionary leader whose selfless contributions to the growth and stability of Ekiti State remain highly commendable.”
He lauded the Deputy Governor for her unwavering support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, noting that her loyalty and commitment have further deepened peace, unity, and good governance across the state. Hon. Ojo particularly eulogised her sterling role in using her wealth of experience and royal pedigree as a princess to amicably resolve communal and inter-boundary disputes — a gesture that has greatly enhanced harmony and progress in Ekiti.
“On behalf of my colleagues, the 16 local government and twenty-two LCDA Chairmen in Ekiti State, I heartily celebrate our dear Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, a woman of substance and exemplary leader. We are proud of your leadership style,motherly guidance, and unrelenting passion for service,” Hon. Ojo said.
He prayed that God would continue to bless Chief Afuye with good health, divine wisdom, and long life filled with joy, peace, and fulfillment as she continues to serve the state with distinction.
“Happy 67th birthday, our dependable Deputy Governor. May the years ahead bring you greater achievements and enduring happiness,” the ALGON Chairman added.
