The executive chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has rejoiced with all sons and daughters of Ilupeju Ekiti on the installation of His Royal Majesty, Oba David Sunday Awe as the new Apeju of Ilupeju Ekiti and his elevation to a grade ‘ A’ Oba.
Ogunmilugba described the emergence of Oba Sunday Awe as a blessing to Ilupeju Ekiti, considering the efforts, resources and years the community had committed to attaining Grade ‘A’ oba in the past which seamlessly came to fruition during the appointment of the new monarch.
In a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti .The LCDA Boss opined that the new monarch is witty, resourceful, homely to norms , culture of Ilupeju Ekiti and lover of his community who had gone through thorough tutelage under the late Oba Emmanuel Olaleye Oniyelu to knowing the yearnings and aspirations of his subjects
He said the accension of the new Oba would bring unprecedented developments and relative peace to Ilupeju Ekiti and her environs.
Comrade Ogunmilugba said Ifeloju Local Council Development would continue to cooperate with the new Apeju Of Ilupeju Ekiti in moving the LCDA and the town forward.
He prayed God to grant the new Apeju sound health, long life and peaceful reign on the throne.
