As political consultations ahead of the 2027 elections gradually gather momentum in Ekiti State, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikole Local Government have continued to highlight the qualities that make Otunba Adesola Adeboro a credible and deserving candidate to represent Ikole Constituency I in the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Party leaders and supporters in the area say Adeboro’s over two decades of unwavering loyalty, commitment, and sacrifice for the APC have distinguished him as one of the most dependable pillars of the party in Ikole-Ekiti and across Ekiti North Senatorial District.
According to them, Adeboro has consistently demonstrated strong dedication to the growth and stability of the party through financial support, moral encouragement, and grassroots mobilization during electioneering campaigns. From councillorship and chairmanship elections to State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, senatorial and governorship contests, he has remained actively involved in ensuring the success of APC candidates.
Stakeholders noted that Adeboro’s contributions to the party have never been motivated by personal ambition but by his belief in the progressive ideals of the APC and his desire to see the party succeed in Ekiti State.
“Adeboro has been a strong pillar of the APC in Ikole for more than twenty years. He has always stood by the party, providing support whenever it was needed. His loyalty and dedication are well known among party members and the people of the constituency,” a party chieftain said.
Beyond his loyalty to the party, supporters say Adeboro possesses deep knowledge of the needs and aspirations of the people of Ikole Constituency I, having maintained close relationships with community leaders, youths, and party faithful across the wards in the local government.
They believe his grassroots connection and understanding of local challenges would enable him to effectively represent the constituency and champion policies and projects that would directly benefit the people.
Some party members also expressed confidence that Adeboro’s emergence as the APC candidate would further strengthen the party’s structure in Ikole while promoting unity among stakeholders.
Supporters added that his potential representation in the Ekiti State House of Assembly would complement the developmental efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, whose administration has continued to implement people-oriented programmes across the state.
They argued that Adeboro’s legislative contributions and advocacy for constituency-based projects would further enhance the delivery of democratic dividends to the people, thereby reinforcing public support for the governor’s administration.
According to them, giving Adeboro the opportunity to represent Ikole Constituency I would not only reward his years of dedication and sacrifice to the APC but also provide the constituency with a grassroots-oriented leader capable of attracting meaningful development.
As consultations continue, many APC faithful in Ikole remain optimistic that the leadership of the party will consider Adeboro’s longstanding contributions and give him the platform to serve the people in the Ekiti State House of Assembly. They maintain that with his experience, loyalty, and strong connection with the grassroots, Otunba Adesola Adeboro stands out as a capable and credible choice to represent Ikole Constituency I and advance the progressive vision of the APC in Ekiti State.
