Across towns and communities in Ekiti North Senatorial District, a growing chorus of support is emerging from youths, artisans, civil servants, the elderly, students, religious and political leaders, all urging Ayo Arise to represent the district in the Senate come 2027.
Anchored on the popular maxim, “the voice of the people is the voice of God,” stakeholders in the district say their collective call reflect deep yearning for purposeful representation, effective legislation, and meaningful federal presence.
Many supporters argue that Ekiti North deserves a representative who will not only speak on the floor of the Senate but also translate policies into tangible benefits for constituents. They emphasize the need for impactful legislative bills, strategic empowerment initiatives, and people-oriented Programmes capable of transforming lives and repositioning the district for sustainable development.
According to residents of Ekiti North the Senate seat must not be reduced to a platform for personal enrichment or the advancement of a privileged few. They decried a pattern where some representatives allegedly prioritize cronies, remain passive during legislative proceedings, and offer token gestures that do little to address the real needs of the people—thereby mortgaging the future of the younger generation.
In contrast, Senator Arise maintains consistently demonstrated capacity, competence, and a genuine passion for qualitative representation. Arise’s track record aligns with the core ideals of democracy—accountability, inclusiveness, and service to the people. “Ekiti North needs a voice that resonates with the people and delivers results. Senator Arise has shown that he understands the assignment,” a community leader remarked.
Supporters insist that his return to the Senate would herald a new era of proactive engagement, robust legislative contributions, and inclusive empowerment initiatives that will uplift constituents across all demographics.
As consultations and political activities gather momentum ahead of 2027, the groundswell of support for Senator Arise appears to reflect a broader demand for leadership that is people-driven, transparent, and committed to real development. For many in Ekiti North, the message is clear: when the people speak in one voice, their call must not be ignored.
