A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed a suit challenging the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Ekiti State, thereby affirming the candidature of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
In its ruling, the court held that only a political party has the authority to determine the eligibility of its members and candidates. It further stated that the judiciary lacks the power to impose or decide a candidate for any political party.
