A renowned socio-cultural organisation, the Ajafa Social Klobb, Supare-Akoko has extended warm felicitation to the newly installed Olusupare of Supare Akoko, Akoko Southwest Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Adewale Richard Fadulu.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief of the Klobb, Professor Olubayo Oluduro.
Professor Oluduro wished the Olusupare a peaceful, prosperous and transformational reign, saying the people of Supare-Akoko had every reason to look forward to a new chapter of unity and development under his leadership.
The Klobb Chief charged the monarch to make peace, unity, reconciliation and community development the hallmarks of his reign.
He described the Olusupare stool as a symbol of the history, culture, identity, values and aspirations of the people of Supare-Akoko.
Oluduro said the new monarch had a major responsibility to unite the people and create an environment conducive to peace, progress and prosperity.
He urged the monarch to use his position to bring together all sons and daughters of the community, both at home and in the diaspora, irrespective of political, social or other differences.
The Klobb Chief said the new reign offered an opportunity to mobilise the enormous human and material resources available within and outside Supare-Akoko towards meaningful development.
He particularly called for greater attention to education, healthcare, youth empowerment, employment opportunities, infrastructure, agriculture, commerce, cultural preservation and the general welfare of the people.
Oluduro also urged the monarch to encourage Supare-Akoko indigenes in the diaspora to return home with their expertise, knowledge and resources, stressing that their contributions could play a significant role in transforming the community.
According to him, the traditional institution has an important role to play in promoting peace, unity and development, noting that the palace should remain open to constructive engagement with community organisations and other stakeholders.
He assured Oba Fadulu II of the support and goodwill of Ajafa Social Klobb, saying the organisation was prepared to cooperate with the palace on initiatives capable of improving the quality of life of the people.
Oluduro further appealed to the new monarch to promote justice, fairness, inclusiveness and reconciliation throughout his reign, saying these values were essential for building a united and prosperous community.
He expressed optimism that the reign of Oba Fadulu II would usher in a new era of peace, stability and sustainable development in Supare-Akoko.
The Klobb Chief prayed God to grant the monarch long life, sound health, wisdom, strength and divine guidance to successfully discharge the responsibilities attached to the revered stool.
