The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has urged Nigeria youths to embrace farming and other vocations instaed of seeking for white collar jobs.
Comrade Ogunmilugba who said with the present Economic condition, Nigeria Government and private companies could not employ every job seekers. Saying the reality necessitated Nigerians to have more than one sources of income to stay afloat.
The Ifeloju LCDA Boss gave the advice while featuring on ‘ALEJO- OSE YI’ a Yoruba programme on 100.5 FM monitored by PRECISE NEWS ONLINE
While admonishing the youths to emback on farming which he described as lucrative. He opined that technological advancement has made farming easy while stressing that though the first year may be harculen saying, subsequent years would be of bumper harvest .
Lending his voice to the effects of fuel subsidy removal, comrade Ogunmilugba admitted that its really bitting harder on the masses, however advised civil servants to either learn vocations or embrace farming to further support their monthly take home. He stressed that they should emback on subsistence farming for the immediate needs of their family.
Recall that few months ago, the Executive Chairman empowered fifty young farmers from communities that make up Ifeloju LCDA Ilupeju Ekiti with farm seedlings, tools and cash.
He further reiterated his commitment to providing more dividends of Democracy, adequate Security of lives, properties and empowering the people of Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti.
