The esteemed Alahun of Ahun Ekiti in Efon Local Government Area of Ekiti State Oba Adeniyi Adelowo has Called on Governor Biodun Oyebanji to take the Ojuse BAO initiative to his town.
The highly revered King said this during while distributing cash gifts and relief materials to the widows and the less privileges within the community.
Oba Alahun in a display of compassion and generosity said it was important to extended support to the people, donating Bags of rice and reasonable huge amount of money to be shared by the people.
The benevolent gesture also reached out to the aged and some people whose health condition are critical and were unable to ascend to the Alahun of Ahun Palace.
This noble tradition and regular gesture of the Alahun since four years ago, is a testament to the monarch’s unwavering commitment to his people, and was redoubled after his official presentation of the Staff of Office by the Ekiti State government, standing as a beacon of hope and solidarity as well as demonstrating the monarch’s dedication to the welfare of his subjects, particularly the vulnerable within the community.
Not only confined to the aid of widows, earlier in 2023, the revered monarch contributed significantly to the betterment of healthcare facilities in the town with a generous donation of medical equipment valued at five hundred thousand naira, the primary health care center at Eyindi Alanaka in Efon Local Government received a substantial boost, amplifying its capacity to cater to the health needs of the populace.
Expressing his admiration and appreciation for the state government’s developmental strides, Oba Adeniyi Adelowo praised the Governor’s impactful initiatives, specifically highlighting the commendable Ojuse BAO program which is an initiative that centered on the distribution of relief materials to those in need, serving as a lifeline for the disadvantaged segments of society.
In a poignant appeal to the Governor, the revered monarch implored the extension of this laudable fellowship to Ahun Ekiti, recently designated as a newly autonomous town within the Efon Local Government area.
