The Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu was joyfully welcomed at the LCDA Secretariat today by staff, relatives and well wishers at exactly 11:00 AM .
The chairman’s first official appearance signaled his readiness to take up the council’s task, while soliciting the cooperation of staff towards moving the LCDA forward. He stressed to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor and pledged to initiate policies and programmes that would make Ifeloju rank first in Ekiti state.
Earlier, a cleric who prayed for the chairman, the vice chairman, councillors and wife of the LCDA chairman, Pst E.B Atoogun, of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Igbala DCC, Ilupeju Ekiti enjoined the new chairman and staff of the LCDA to work harmoniously for the progress of the Council. He stressed the need to understand themselves and correct one another in love in case of any misunderstanding.
The cleric cautioned them against backbiting as he equally urged to shun all forms of diabolic acts that could cause misunderstanding and disunity between the Chairman and the staff of the LCDA which according to him would help in witnessing unprecedented development at the Council area.
The chairman and his Vice was conducted round the secretariat by management team of the LCDA.
Dignitaries at the secretariat includes: APC party Chairman, Oye Local Government, clerics, party leaders, management of Ifeloju LCDA among others.
