The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has dissolved the State Executive Council.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said that the dissolution is with immediate effect.
Adeniyan added that all members concerned are to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
Also, all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) are sacked.
According to Adeniyan, the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.
He expressed Governor Aiyedatiwa’s appreciation to the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of the State.
The directive will afford the governor an opportunity to appoint those that will effectively work with him .
