The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu has felicitated Muslims in the LCDA, Ekiti and Nigeria as they commence thirty days Ramadan fasting today.
The chairman who prayed Allah to strengthen the Muslims faithful to successfully carry out the spiritual exercise, urged them to pray for the peace and development of Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju, Ekiti and Nigeria at large.
Hon Oniyelu in a statement noted that Ramadan fasting is part of the pillars of Islam by prophet Mohammed to pray; worship, and give alms to the needy in the society. Adding that the spiritual exercises are done in holiness, sincerity of mind and love not only to tackle challenges but to receive Allah’s blessings. The chairman assured the Muslims of his unwavering support during and after the Ramadan fasting.
While enjoining the Muslims to pray for adequate security and economic boom in Nigeria, the LCDA Boss noted that Nigerians will enjoy more dividends of democracy when there is peace and economic buoyancy in Nigeria. He prayed Allah to help them finish strong with bountiful blessings.
