Emerging from closed- door session, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has announce Senator Mwadkwon Davou, Representing Plateau North as the Minority Leader.
Akpabio also named Osun West lawmaker, Kamorudeen Olarere (PDP Osun West) as Deputy Minority Leader.
Labour Party Darlington Nwokeocha (Abia Central) was also named Minority Whip, while Rufai Hanga (NNPP Kano Central was announced as the Deputy Minority Whip.
Recall that the two contenders for the post of Minority leader – former governor of Sokoto state , Sen. Aminu Tambowal and the candidate of Wike from River State did not get it.
