Ekiti chef, Damilola Adeparusi, is set to be crown the new world record holder as she completes 120-hour cook-a-thon.
Recall that few hours ago, Chef Hilda Baci who cooked for 100 hours non stop was certified by the Guinness World Records as the longest cooking individual category
Chef Dammy, determined and focused waved aside distractions, bashing and discouragements that initially greeted her ingenuity on social media. Any moment from now her name will be recorded in the guinness book of record as the latest and longest cook by individual category.
Meanwhile, she had received Support both in cash and kind from well meaning Nigerians at home and abroad, the host Community, Ilupeju Ekiti and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina and management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti visited and drum Support for chef Damilola.
The Obanla of Ilupeju Ekiti, His Highness, Sunday Ogunsola, High Chief Amos Ogunbiyi, the Oloja Odo-egosi, Prince Olufemi James Oniyelu, The president of Ilupeju Youth Development Associaion, Engineer Femi Fagbemi and his Executives among others have all visited and constantly drum Support for the chef who via her ingenuity and initiative has turn Ilupeju Ekiti to a tourist centre where people from far and near have been visiting since Friday 10th June, 2023.
According to Chef Damilola, Cook -a-thon is not in competition with anybody but a desire orchestrated by the Spirit World Global Mission, a Church she affiliated with.
