The Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Adesola Adedayo has enjoined Nigerian youths to actively involve in politics to contribute their quota to the development of the society.
Adding that youths should not see politics and governance as a no go area for them.
The Commissioner gave the advice in his congratulatory message to mark the 2023 National Youth Day, he stressed that Youth participation in Governance would rekindle their hope for a better future.
According to him, the toga of “The Future Leaders” given to the youths can only be attained if and when they exhibit commitments to the progress and development of the country.
He assured that Governor Biodun Oyebanji would continue to give priority to Youth development towards empowering potential leaders with necessary skills and characteristics required to successfully lead in future.
The Commissioner urged youths to reciprocate government’s efforts by shunning actions that may be detrimental to their future and supporting efforts of government to develop the State.
