The winner of the House of Assembly Election for Efon Constituncy, Mrs Bosede Olowookere Yinka of APC has promised his constituents of more dividends of Democracy and qualitative representation.
Mrs Olowookere was declared winner having polled 6386 votes to defeat the candidate of PDP who polled 1029 votes in the House of Assembly Election by Independent National Electoral Commission
While Fielding questions from PRECISE NEWS, Mrs Olowookere promised to facilitate good road network, higher institution, employment, booster station that would make life worth living for her constituents.
“By the special grace of God, I shall use my office to lobby and facilitate Alanaka / Ororo road that have been in bad state for long, I believe Mr. Governor would help the good people of Efon in this regard. Also, I would make case for a booster station for a better reception of airwaves for us to be able to listen to radio and watch TV stations in my Constituency. With this, my people would be able to tune in to radio stations and know happenings in and outside the state”
The Assembly -Elect stressed further that her Constituency was in dare need of higher institutions that would not only help in boosting the economy of the area but would bring influx of people to reside in the place.
” I shall make case for a good Higher Institution in Efon, because most of our people are farmers and they will want a situation where we will have something that can make most of the people stay more in the town because when they go the farm, maybe by Tuesday, they will not return until Saturday this makes the town scanty sometimes”
Olowookere promised her constituents empowerment and said she would ensure that her people get their share when government is doing employment. Adding that she would give her total support to APC for good governance.
“On the issue of unemployment, it is a general problem. One of the things that I know for sure is that, ever since that our party had been in government, they normally employ people across the 16 local government areas of the State in which Efon is not excluded.
So, I believe that the present Government is going to increase and expatiate more on the area of employment and by the time , I am going to present the interest of my local government area because Efon are well read.
We have a good number of Efon graduates that are looking for employment and that are looking for this opportunity too”
Mrs Olowookere appreciated her constituents for their support during campaign and massive turnout to vote her as their represntitave, saying she would be accessible to them at all times .
