The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council has felicitated Muslims across the state on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir urging them to remember Nigeria in their prayers.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Chairman of the Union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela said the current state of insecurity and economic downturn in Nigeria requires divine intervention since all human abilities and knowledge have failed.
Ojomoyela also urged the faithful to celebrate with modesty, observe Covid-19 protocols as directed by government and should be security conscious.
The statement read:” The leadership of NUJ is happy to see our Muslim brothers and sisters in journalism witness another sallah in good health.
