The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, Ekiti University Teaching Hospital Chapter has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the payment of harzard allowance to health workers in the state.
The president of the Association, Dr. Olatunde Ogundare gave the commendation during a ‘thank you ‘ visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Health and Human services, Dr Oyebanji Filani.
The President who was in the company of the Association’s Secretary, Dr Adebowale Akinwumi noted that the Governor has shown great commitment to the health sector of the state, saying Oyebanji is the first governor to pay harzard allowance in South West states of Nigeria.
In his remark, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Oyebanji Filani stated that the state government is committed to improving the welfare of health workers and other workforce of the state.
Dr Filani assured the Association of government’s continued collaboration, commitment and support for a better, efficient and effective healthcare service delivery.
