The father of Ekiti State Governor Elect, Pa. Ezekiel Olukunle Oyebanji has reassured Ekiti people that his son, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji,will not betray the confidence reposed in him, saying, he will deliver on his campaign promises.
The nonagenarian made this known during an interview with pressmen in his house in Ado Ekiti.
Pa Oyebanji said his son has always exhibited exemplary leadership qualities while growing up, noting that he was not surprised when he showed interest in politics.
The father of the Governor-elect said “Biodun has always had a passion for excellence, knowledge and integrity which are hallmarks of a leader.”
Adding that the sterling qualities of the governor elect made him tower above his peers, as he opined that Oyebanji’s emergence was a product of destiny as endorsed by God.
He said the in-coming governor will work with those that matter and other critical stakeholders for the overall development of Ekiti State.
Pa Oyebanji , 90 years old of Okele Quarters in Ikogosi Ekiti, reiterated his commitment to playing the role of a father-advisor, assuring that he would continue to remind his son of the pacts he has signed with the people of Ekiti State, which is good governance.
While appreciating the incumbent governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi for believing in the capability of his son and supporting him all-through, the nonagenarian also appreciated the good people of the state for voting en-mass for the Governor-elect.
