The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Ekiti State Council has congratulated one of its members, Ayodeji Ogunsakin of NTA, Ado Ekiti over his election as the Vice President, Southwest of Sport Writers Association of Nigeria.
Ogunsakin, the former Ekiti state Swan chairman was elected alongside the president, Isaiah Benjamin and the Deputy President Bonny Nyong
In a statement by the chairman of the union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the Secretary, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi applauded Ogunsakin for making the union proud for the great feat he has achieved and prayed God to grant him the wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding to excel and record unprecedented successes.
The council promised to work with Ogunsakin towards building a strong bond for welfare of every Journalist in Ekiti state. The union further enjoined him to use his good office to restructure the Ekiti SWAN and make it better.
With the emergence of Ogunsakin, Ekiti has set a record of producing the Southwest NUJ Vice President and SWAN Vice President simultaneously.
