The duo, Secretary to Ekiti State Government and Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Omolara Habibat Adubiaro and Dayo Apata( SAN) have been sworn- in .
The Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji had on Minday administered oath of office on the duo at the Conference Hall of Governor’s office with the assurance that they would perform creditably well in their new assignments.
The Governor said, “Today’s occasion is significant as we are all aware that the office of Secretary to Ekiti State Government and commissioner of Justice serve as an important nomenclature of this government. This is underscored by the fact that it is established by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
I therefore congratulate Dr. Adubiaro and Dayo Apata who have been called upon to serve at this crucial time”
Oyebanji further reiterated the importance of the offices of Secretary to Ekiti State Government and Commissioner for Justice which requires competence, loyalty and commitment which the duo possessed .
The governor charged the appointees to be alive to their responsibilities.
Dignitaries at the swearing-in ceremony were, the First Lady of Ekiti State, Dr.(Mrs) Olayemi Olajumoke Oyebanji, Deputy Governor, Chief(Mrs) Monisade Christianah Afuye, Deputy Speaker, Rt.Hon. Hakeem Jamiu, Ekiti APC State Chairman, Barrister Paul Omotosho, his vice, Hon. Sola Elesin, Chairman, Ekiti traditional council and Onisan of Isan-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Gabriel Ayodele Adejuwon, Eyesorun of Ado-Ekiti, Olori Abosede Adejugbe, the Grand Imam of Ekiti state, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere and other important personalities.
