The Ekiti State Commissioner for information, Hon.Taiwo Olatunbosun has assured members of online media chapel of his readiness to work harmoniously with the chapel in projecting the developmental agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Hon. Olatunbosun gave the assurance on 16th August, 2023 when members of the chapel paid him a congratulatory visit in his office in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The commissioner who underscores the importance of online journalism to Effective reportage of government activities says it’s pertinent to work with the chapel due to digitalisation and its large audience which has made it outstanding among conventional and non-conventional practitioners.
While soliciting the support of the chapel, he assured that his office will not operate outside the ethics of the profession, urging the members to work towards achieving the six point agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
According to him, “We have an enlarged Excos to execute the six-point agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji. I want to appeal and request for your continuous support, patronage and relationship. I want you to be fair in your reportage, we will not do anything outside of the norms.”
Earlier, the Chairman of the Online media, Comrade Abere Charles had congratulated the commissioner on his appointment, pledged unflinching support of the chapel to effectively project the activities of Ekiti Statae government. He However pleaded with the commissioner to accord the chapel recognition and all benefits due to it .
