The Governorship Candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP) during 2022 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle has described the gruesome murder of Elesun, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin as a great loss not only to the community but to Ekiti State. She said the love the late Oba had for his community made him worked assiduously for the development of Esun Ekiti.
Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle, disclosed this when she and her husband, Haim, paid a condolence visit to the immediate family of the monarch. Erelu Halle was received by the wife of the late Monarch,Olori Yetunde Ogunsakin and other family members, described Oba Ogunsakin’s death as a personal loss to her.
Recalled just last year,late Oba Ogunsakin installed the former ADP governorship candidate and her husband as the Erelu Okin and Aare Okin of Esun Kingdom.

While extolling the virtues of the late Elesun, Erelu Okin acknowledged that his death was not only a loss to Esun-Ekiti but the entire state.
She commended Oba Ogunsakin’s humility, kindness and simplicity despite his royalty.
“I commiserate with the immediate royal family and the entire people of Esun-Ekiti over the untimely death of our revered King,Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin and I pray for a peaceful repose of his soul”
