Residents of Fehintoluwa Community, Itamo-Igirigiri area of Ado-Ekiti, have congratulated Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Chief Monisade Afuye, on their victory in the June 20, 2026 governorship election.
In a statement signed on Saturday by the Chairman, Landlords/Landladies’ Association of Fehintoluwa Community, Elder Segun Adetoba, and the Secretary, Deacon Aina Kayode, the community said Oyebanji’s re-election reflects the fulfillment of campaign promises and the delivery of good governance in his first term.
“We proudly rejoice with our dear Governor for his commitment to improving the welfare of Ekiti people,” the statement read.
“We are confident that Fehintoluwa Community and the wider Itamo-Igirigiri area will enjoy more dividends of democracy in your second term, building on the infrastructure and road construction delivered during your first term.”
The community drew attention to the Lobinto Junction–Fehintoluwa road, which it said deteriorated after serving as an alternative route during recent construction works on the Ado Local Government road.
It recalled an earlier appeal to Governor Oyebanji, Senate Leader Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, and Hon. Olusola Fatoba to assist with the rehabilitation of the road. Residents noted that the deplorable condition had separated families and worsened during this rainy season.
While praying for God’s guidance, good health, and success for the administration’s second term, the community pledged unwavering support for the governor, his cabinet, Senator Bamidele, and Hon. Fatoba ahead of the 2027 elections.
