The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area, Hon Oluwadamilare Ajayi has been commended for embarking on projects that have direct impact on people of the council area .
Engineer, Michael Oludaisi working with Ekiti State Ministry of Local Government gave this commendation during inspection of projects the ministry carried out recently at the council area .
Engr Oludaisi who noted that materials used for all the projects executed by Hon Ajayi are standard and to specification. He praised the effort of the chairman in bringing dividend of democracy to the door steps of his people.
Engr Oludaisi further described the council boss as a good manager of men and resources, thereby call on other chairmen in the state to emulate him.
” I cannot but lauded Hon Ajayi with what I saw here today, all his projects are solid and without any structural defect. Engr Daisi stated.
While responding, the chairman thanked Engr Micheal Oludaisi for the inspection, explained that his philosophy hinges on ” not how far but how well and that is the reason he has been putting in place projects that can stand the test of time despite paucity of fund.
According to the council boss all market stalls in the three communities in the council area were in deplorable condition when he came on board but today his administration has renovated all and constructed new ones .
He noted that this singular gesture now makes traders in the area to be more comfortable and also boost the Internally Generated Revenue ( IGR ) of the council. The Chairman hinted that there are plans to construct another administrative building with all neccessary facilities
Projects inspected includes: Perimeter fence of the council Secretariat, newly renovated administrative building, renovated lock up shops complex and graded roads, all in Aisegba ,Ijan and Iluomoba Ekiti.
