Oluwadamilare Ajayi, The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area.
A unique politician that have immensurable and unmatchable passion towards the growth and advancement of his Local Council Development Area.
When he was elected over a year ago by his people, Hon Ajayi assumed office with determination not to betray the confidence his people reposed in him, however
the situation of things he met on ground was enough to discourage him and lower his morale because the challenges look in sumontable but this politician with a unique attributes summoned the courage and settled down to address these issues one after the other not minding paucity of fund.
BEFORE RENOVATION
The inadequacy of accommodation confronting the workers at the Secretariat of the council is now a thing of the past.
He took the bull by horn by renovating an abandon building that many people believed not habitable considering the deplorable condition the building and long years of neglect.
The council boss who have the mentality that nothing is impossible for a man with right mind renovated this building by re – roofing it , plastered it, tilled the appropriate places .
The hiterto building that look horrible is now wearing a new look after it was painted with attractive and magnificent colours and the building is now one of the best building at the council Secretariat.
AFTER RENOVATION
Hon Ajayi did not stop there ,he went further to furnish the building with the state of the art furniture that can compete favourably with the furniture in any governor’s office in Nigeria.
This singular feat made many people around this extra ordinary politician to describe him as miracle worker.
Also, not satisfy with the market stalls in the three communities that made up the LCDA namely Ijan, Iluomoba and Aisegba Ekiti, Hon Ajayi embarked on aggressive renovation of these stalls to make trading comfortable for the users and at the same time boost the internally generated revenue.
The renovation work that is nearing completion now is making people to sing praises of this exceptional politician.
Not pleased with the way domestic animals are roaming about the council Secretariat and same time considering the safety of workers at the Secretariat, the Hon Ajayi led administration is set to embark on the perimeter fencing of the entire Secretariat.
As at the time of writing this report all materials needed for the smooth take- off of the project such as: blocks,sand ,granite and cement are already in place.
Considering these impactful projects been executed by Hon Oluwadamilare Ajayi’s administration in Gbonyin Local Council Development Area, there is a clear indication that total transformation and advancement of the council Area is paramount to this committed and dedicated politician of high repute .
