The executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu will on Tuesday,10 September, 2024 commission several stalls and empower thousands of residents of the LCDA.
The chairman in a statement noted that several residents of the LCDA will be empowered with working tools while some will be given financial assistance to support their sources of livelihood.
The statement reads, Local Government is the closest government to the people at the grassroot, since my assumption in office, I have been attending to urgent needs of individual and group of people but the empowerment slated for this Tuesday by 10: 00 AM will be massive as beneficiaries are carefully selected from the five communities based on needs without any political affiliation.
I would like to add that several stalls and other people’s oriented projects will be commissioned for use of residents of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti”
The statement further enjoined residents and beneficiaries to be seated by 9:00am at MENARA MARKET SQUARE, Ilupeju Ekiti where the empowerment will take place before the arrival of top government functionaries, Royal fathers and political bigwigs .
