The Wife of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area Chairman, Ilupeju Ekiti, Mrs Oniyelu Adenike has strongly condemned the gruesome murder of two Ekiti monarchs and kidnap of unspecified numbers of school pupils in the state.
Mrs Oniyelu who disclosed this on Tuesday in a chat with Precise news, described the kidnap of the pupils in Eporo Ekiti and murder of Onimojo, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola and the Elesun of Esun, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola as callous, disheartening and uncivilized. She prayed God to console the deceased families and residents of the affected towns.
Mrs Oniyelu prayed God for safe release of the kidnapped pupils of Apostolic School, urging all parents to pray for the arrest of the kidnappers who are head bend on truncating the peace of Ekiti State. While sympathizing with parents of the pupils, Mrs Oniyelu hinted that the pupils and their teachers would be rescued unhurt. She said, Governor Oyebanji’s marching order to the commissioner of police and sister agencies in the state would combat the security threat in the State.
