As Muslims all over the world commence Ramadan fasting today, the Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu has Felicitated with Muslims in Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti, Ekiti State and Nigeria.
The Chairman called on the Muslim faithful to use the holy period of fasting to re-dedicate themselves to Allah and ensure the values and teachings of the period are religiously followed.
In a statement, Hon Oniyelu described Ramadan as a period for self cleansing, rededication to the service of Allah and showing genuine love to mankind, adding that love, peace and almsgiving which are the core values of the Ramadan must be succinctly adhered to.
While reiterating his continued support to Muslims in Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon Olusola tasked them to pray for the peace and development of the LCDA, Ekiti state and Nigeria. ” As a Chairman of all faiths in Ifeloju LCDA, I will continue to support and promote initiatives that will enhance mutual coexistence” As you embark on this spiritual exercise, may Allah strengthen you, answer your prayers and make you finish strong.”The Chairman stated
