The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has applauded the massive developmental programmes of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s one year anniversary in office. Saying, it can only be done by someone with the heart of God and continuity mantra.
Comrade Ogunmilugba disclosed this in a congratulatory statement made available to Journalists in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.The LCDA boss said the projects, policies and programmes of Governor Oyebanji have direct impact on the masses which according to him was the hallmark of a visionary and purposeful leader.
Highlighting some interventions of Governor Oyebanji, Comrade Ogunmilugba hinted that the massive developments going on in all Local Governments/ LCDA across Ekiti State was as a result of the Independence and financial support given to the third tier of government .
“Permanent secretariats were built while old ones were renovated, farm roads were opened for Economic and urban development, damaged roads, drainages are repaired, new markets, stalls and shops were constructed, solar lights, adequate security and empowerments were provided for the masses at the grassroot”
The statement reads in part; The massive roads construction and rehabilitation in the State, prioritizing workers’ welfare, qualitative education, healthcare, infrastructure development, electrification/reconnecting Communities with national grid, youths empowerment, promotion of small scale businesses and Agricultural interventions among others are worthy of commendations.
Adding that, prompt payment of workers salaries, promotions, Housing, car loan and payment of pensioners was a testament that Oyebanji is a God sent who have the love of his people at heart.
While applauding the governor for ensuring Government resources are judiciously utilized, he commended him for completing projects initiated by his predecessors in the state and properly monitoring ongoing projects.
Comrade Ogunmilugba Prayed God to give the governor sound health, more wisdom and wherewithal to continue the good works he’s started. While promising co-operation and unalloyed loyality of Ifeloju Local Counci Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti to his administration. He wished the governor, Deputy and state Council a successful tenure .
