The management of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti and members of the council security team held the July edition of Security and Intelligence Meeting on Tuesday.
The Security and Intelligence Members chatted new course on how to further strengthen security in the five communities that make up Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti.
Speaking on reported cases of herders negative operations in OSin Ekiti, Captain Ibrahim of Nigeria Army promised to meet relevant authorities with the aim of embarking on bush combing in no distance time. He charged residents of the LCDA to remain calm and always supply useful information to security operatives that will lead to the arrest of people with questionable characters.
The meeting suggested financial assistance for local hunters across the LCDA as a way of incorporating them to give helping hands to the conventional security officers. Responding , the Chairman of Ifeloju LCDA, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu promised to look into their demands for effective collaboration . He stressed that security required adequate funding and prompt information for protection of lives and properties.
Attendance at the meeting included: The Chairman Security and Intelligence Meeting, the Owajumu, HRM, Oba Ogundeyi Joseph, Representatives of the Nigeria Army, Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security Civil Defense Corps, DSS, Amotekun, among others .
