Pastor Job Ademola has charged Nigerians to make effective use of their time for the glory of God so as to access the kingdom of God, saying time allotted to individual person would soon elapsed.
Pastor Ademola gave the charge this weekend at the final burial ceremony of late Mrs Felicia Abolarin at Oore- Ofe Baptist Church, Ijara- Isin, Kwara State.
The cleric in a sermon titled ” Make use of your time wisely because it will soon finish” read Ecclesiastes 3:1-5.He enjoined the congregation to use their resources and time to better the lots of the masses, saying, individual’s deeds either bad or good would be remembered on Earth ditto in heaven.
While admonishing the children of the deceased to do away with things that could hindered them from using their time wisely, he attributed sin, pride, prayerless life and not been closer to God as major factors. He added that testimonies of people about the deceased shown she used her time wisely to serve God and humanity. The cleric however charged the children to emulate all the good deeds of their late mother who was a devout Christian till death.
Olarewaju James Abikoye , son of the deceased said” My mother was a generous woman who shared all she had with people. She was accommodating, caring and prayerful. My mother taught me to be generous and prayerful. Mama toiled hard to give (we) the children qualitative education, thank God, her labour over us was not in vain , three of her children are graduates today and we are doing fine in our chosen careers. That’s why we took good care of her when she was alive and today we gave her a befitting burial”
“I will miss her candid advice and daily morning prayers, I pray God to give her eternal rest”
Mrs Abosede Abikoye, said her mother- in -law was kind, loved her children dearly and prayerful. Accordingly to her” I will miss her 4 times call in a week, the rain of prayers whenever she called and ” a ma miss bi won se ma nki oriki awon omo” Tani a ma ki awon omo bayi o?
Also, Mrs Temitope Bamigbade, one of the daughters of the deceased, said her mother was a cheerful giver who derived joy in making people around her joyous and comfortable
She added that late madam Felicia was a devout Christian who believed in prayers . Mrs Temitope who said she would miss her mother’s candid advice, virtues which have been paving ways for her . She said her mother lived a fulfilled life despite she died at 85 years, prayed God to rest her soul.
Late Mrs Felicia lived between 1937- 29th December, 2022.
