The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon Bamidele FADUGBA has endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for second term.
The Chairman hinged the endorsement on the numerous people -oriented programmes and policies of the governor.
Hon FADUGBA disclosed this at a media parley with Ekiti state Journalists on Thursday at the NUJ secretariat. The Council Boss stressed that Governor Oyebanji’s human and infrastructural development in all sectors needed consolidation. “Hence, the need for BAO to continue with his good and progressive works in Ekiti state”.
Reeling out his achievements within six months in office, Hon FADUGBA disclosed that he had paid NECO fee for SS3 students across the council. Adding that the best students from SSS1 to SSS3 were rewarded handsomely.
According to the Chairman,” As the chief Servant of Moba Local Government, I prioritize the welfare of both the youths and the elderly, many of them were given soft loans to expand their Businesses while food items were given to them on regular basis.
Also, I have empowered many youths in their various areas of specialization and I will continue to do more ”
The Chairman said he will unveil a local security outfit code-named (MASE) MOBA ABOBA SECURITY ENFORCEMENT. ” The security of lives and properties of my people is paramount to me, so I need to put in place an outfit that will further strengthen the security of Moba”
He added that he will soon unveil Indoor games center for the youths and the elderly.
Appreciating the cooperation and support of Ekiti journalists in projecting the good works of the governor, the council boss solicited the support of the Journalists to project the activities of his Local Government. He promised to support NUJ project.
Earlier, the NUJ chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi had commended the chairman for the visit to familiarize himself with Ekiti journalists.
