The 1979 set of Obalatan Commercial Grammar school, Ilupeju Ekiti has elected new Executives that would direct the affairs of the set.
Members of the executive were elected at the set maiden Reunion Day held on 22nd July, 2023 at AB Hotel, Ado Ekiti.
Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi emerged as the Chairman while Pastor Idowu Anifowose became the Secretary,
Mrs Margaret Adeyeye- Treasurer Mr Kayode Arigbede -Public Relations Officer(PRO). Others are:
Mr Kunle Jemilehin – Social/Welfare Officer, Mr Sunday Osatuyi- Chief Whip, Pastor Tolu Ayinde – Coordinator, Lagos State
Mr Banji Olaleye – Coordinator, Oyo State
Ajoke Atolagbe – Coordinator, Diaspora.

his speech called for concerted efforts to reposition Obalatan Grammar school, Ilupeju Ekiti to retain its lost glory.
The Chairman who stressed that the challenges bedeviling the college required the intervention of old students Association, Government, Non Government Organisation and Parents, Teachers Association.
He commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the recent recruitment of teachers into Schools in Ekiti State, saying the gesture would helped solved the shortage of staff faced by schools.
Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi promised that the new Executives would continue to prioritize Welfare of members and would remain one indivisible group. While appreciating members of the set for sustaining the age long love, unity and solidarity among members since their days in the college.
He applauded the National President of Obalatan Commercial Grammar School old students Association who was the senior prefect of 1979, Prof Bayo Oloyede for his efforts to rebuilding the school .
