The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has secured permanent employment for three casual workers of the LCDA.
The Chairman made this known on Friday in his office while counseling staff on diligence to duty. He said the three casual staff that got their Employment letters on Wednesday,26th July ,2023 have been diligently working with the LCDA since 2021.
According to Comrade Ogunmilugba” Ekundayo Remi Bukola, Ogundana Jumoke Esther and Jegede Sina have been diligently doing their work not bothered with the token the community was given them before my arrival but when opportunity comes, I recommended three of them for permanent employment, today, they are staff of Ekiti State Government’
The LCDA Boss said, there is dignity in labour, charged his staff to be more dutiful. He said “For Ifeloju LCDA to grow and for us to serve our people better, all of you must be diligent in your area of specialization”
In an interview, Ekundayo Remi and Ogundana Jumoke appreciated comrade Ogunmilugba for using his office to secure them permanent employment, they prayed God to favour him in all his dealings.
The duo promised to re-double their efforts to serve, as they appreciated stakeholders of the LCDA who have being of help to them in cash and kind since 2021.
The duo said ” We came in as community workers who sweep,run errands and make sure the environment is tidy always and we were given #10000 as salaries yet we were happy doing the work with sincere minds.
We used the money to take care of ourselves and children, while we were hopeful that one day, God will elevate us to be staff of Ifeloju LCDA. The staff that we work with never for once looked down on us, even the Chairman treated us like real staff.
Now that God has answered our prayers, we are ready to do more to show appreciation to the management of Ifeloju LCDA and our Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji”
