No fewer than 200 senior citizens participated in the free health services organized by the Secretary of Ekameta Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Ikogosi Ekiti, Hon.(Dr) Leye Adeniji.
The Secretary, Hon (Dr) Leye Adeniji urged the senior citizens to seek medical attention, eat well and have enough rest.
He gave the advice at the free health services organized for the senior citizens, titled ” IKOGOSI WELLNESS 2022″.
Ten Medical practitioners conducted test on the senior citizens free, offered them advice and gave them medications based on result of their test .
The medical personnel conducted BP, Sugar Level, HIV and COVID-19 test on the elderly citizens, as Dr. Leye presented new year gifts to the participants and appreciated their massive turnout for the programme.
Dr. Leye appreciated the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji for his support for the programme, saying the governor was instrumental to his service to the people and he appreciated all APC leaders for their support towards the success of the programme.
Three of the beneficiaries told Precise News that they were well attended to, adding that their hope have been raised of living heathier after the programme. They appreciated the organiser of the programme, prayed God to bless and strengthen him to continue the good work he has started.
While reacting to the tribunal judgement that upheld the victory of Biodun Oyebanji, Dr Adeniji described the victory as victory for the masses and development . He added that the judgement has shown that the election was free, fair and credible. Thereby, congratulated the Governor and APC members in the state.
