The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has charged the newly sworn in Commissioners and Special Advisers to work in tandem with the principles of his administration to move Ekiti State forward.
Governor Oyebanji gave the charge at the swearing-in of 19 commissioners and 14 Special Advisers on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti.
While congratulating the appointees, Governor Oyebanji tasked them to hit the ground running, saying there are greater tasks ahead of them to transform the state.
Governor Oyebanji reminded the appointees to see their appointments as a privilege to serve the people, saying their dedication to duties are sacrosant .
The governor who reiterated his commitement to serving Ekiti people, said a retreat would be held between 10th and 12th August, 2023 to enlighten the new appointees on the workings of government, saying new ideas would be injected into governance.

In an interview, the commissioners for youth development and Environment Hon. Adesola Gold Adedayo, Hon. Tosin Aluko and SA investment, Mrs Ayokunle appreciated the Governor for finding them worthy to contribute to the Development of Ekiti State. They promised to work diligently in line with the agenda of Governor Oyebanji to better the lots of Ekiti People.
