The Oyo State House of Assembly at its plenary today directed the Chief Judge of the state to set up a seven-man committee to investigate the allegation of gross misconduct levelled against the Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan.
The directive was given in a motion moved by the duo; the majority leader, Hon. Sanjo Onaolapo and Hon. Akintunde Olajide
It would be recalled the Oyo State High Court had given a restraining order to the state House of Assembly from proceeding with the impeachment process against the embattled Deputy Governor.
Despite the court order, the panel was given 3 months to investigate the allegation and report to the House .
