Oye Local Government and the three Local Council Development Areas in the Local Government have received palliative of 500 bags of corn and one hundred bags of Garri from Federal Government through Ekiti State Government.
Ekiti State Emergency Management Agency delivered the palliatives on Thursday to Oye LG, Ifeloju, Ifesowapo and Ayede LCDAs. The food stuffs are to be distributed to vulnerable persons at their various councils to cushion effect of harsh economy.
Receiving the palliatives on behalf of others,the Chairman Oye Local Government, Princess Bamisile Adesola Clara appreciated President Bola Tinubu and the Governor Biodun Oyebanji for given priority to the welfare of people at the grassroots.
She assured that the palliatives would be adequately distributed without preference for sex, religion, politics and ethnicity.
She said the kind gesture had proved that President Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji are leaders who are concerned about the well-being of the people.
Present at the delivery the three LCDA Chairmen: Ifeloju LCDA, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu, Chairman Ifesowapo LCDA, Hon. Muyiwa Ajibola and Chairman Ayede LCDA, Hon Aderemi Samuel Ajayi.
