Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi, Retired Permanent Secretary has commiserated the State Government, friends and family over the death of the immediate Former Deputy Governor Chief Bisi Egbeyemi who died at the age of 79
Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi described the death of his former principal as a collosal loss to Ekiti state, his family and Nigeria at large.
“This is so unexpected and shocking! I had a plan to send him a message but waiting till later today before sending it. And only to hear that my former Principal, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi is dead! The news of his death is indeed very incredible! I was his last Permanent Secretary while he was the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State. He was a distinguished Public Servant and a successful politician. No doubt, his death is a monumental loss to the family and Ekiti State”
Mr Sola Ogunmiluyi reeled out the outstanding achievements of late Chief Bisi Egbeyemi in Ensuring that peace reign among the traditional rulers, ensured that villages/ towns that were faced with Obaship tussle were quickly resolved and settled boundary disputes in Ekiti state.
He added that Egbeyemi’s intelligent wisdom, political sagacity and his contribution to community development would be greatly missed, while commiserating with his family to take solace in God for a life well spent by their patriach, prayed God to comfort the families at this trying period .
