A stalwart of All Progressive Congress (APC) has hailed the development strides of Ekiti state governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji in all sectors which has opened the state for investment.
Giving the commendation and endorsement to consolidate on the several achievements of the governor in Ekiti state, Engineer (Dr) AYO OMOTOSHO, the founder of Ayo Omotosho Movement (AOM) and Foundation (AOF) on Monday, in an interview with journalists in Ado Ekiti, said Governor Biodun Oyebanji has performed excellently well , adjudged him the best governor in the state since 1999.
He said, “an assessment of Governor Oyebanji, from my own point of view and obviously from what people can see, he has performed excellently well, he is the best of all the governors to have governed Ekiti state from 1999 to date. He is so particular about infrastructural development and how it’s so concerned about the citizens of Ekiti state. Every of his policies and reforms have always been to the good of Ekiti state, he’s one of the best governors in Nigeria”
He commended Oyebanji’s development strides in the last two years, in all sectors to include: infrastructural development, youth and women empowerment, education, health, as well as his inclusive government, which has made the state peaceful and witnessed tremendous progress.
The Itapa born politician and a Philanthropist from Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti who has impacted thousands lives, charged residents of Ekiti state to support the second term agenda of Governor Oyebanji so as to consolidate on his lofty infrastructural developments.
My charge to Ekiti people is that everything that Oyebanji has put in place is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf , we have no other option than to support him for a second term .The governor has done excellently well, all we can do is to encourage him to do more by giving him the chance to rule us for another four years , so that whatever he’s started, he can complete it in four years. Engineer Omotosho stated .
The grassroot politician, added that Governor Oyebanji needed more years to consolidate his people’s oriented programmes and policies he’s put in place for the well-being of Ekiti residents. He said” No real developmental projects can happen in four years, he needs more time to consolidate the ongoing projects in all Communities in the state for residents to witness unprecedented development and enjoy more dividends of democracy ”
Engineer Omotosho who said Nigeria would compete favorably with other powerful nations across the globe, if tax reform can be implemented. He advocated that tax must be proportionate to individuals’ earnings as it’s practiced in western worlds .
Engineer Omotosho, a staunch supporter of president Bola Tinubu, gave accolades to the president on his policies, programmes and reforms which he said would culminate in a sustainable Economy where Nigerians would not only applaud in the long run but enjoy good governance. While admitting that the process of building the aged long comatose
economy of Nigeria may not be palatable, he called on Nigerians to exercise more patients to revamp the economy.
“I am an advocate of Bola Tinubu, I want Nigerians to expect a sustainable economy from Bola Tinubu’s government, expect an economy that is self sustainer; Tinubu’s policies in oil and gas are materializing ; pump price is reducing on its own. Yes, I understand the process of putting these policies in place may not be palatable but one thing I understand is that , if u want to renovate a building, you wouldn’t find it habitable while you are renovating, the process of building is not always palatable but when everything is well built; I am sure every Nigerian will enjoy the policies and reforms strategies that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is putting in place.
Speaking on what the Federal Government should focus on in 2025, Engineer Omotosho retorted that economic development was one of the major plans that president Tinubu has been working seriously on , saying he’s confident that Nigerians would begin to enjoy the dividend of democracy. He pleaded with Nigerians to give Tinubu more time to fix the economy. According to him” the economy of Nigeria has been destroyed for years and cannot be revamped in a hurry. I urged Nigerians to be a bit patient with the president. I know, is not easy while trying to build a sustainable Economy .
I urge the federal government to continue to develop the economy to the level where every Nigerian would be able to enjoy more dividends of democracy and be proud of our country, Nigeria”, Engineer Omotosho concluded
