The Federal Lawmaker, representing Ekiti Central Constituency 1 at the Green Chamber. Honourable Olusola Fatoba, has paid five months allowance to 24 chairmen and over 50 wards executive members in Ado and Irepodun local governments of Ekiti State.
The wards executive members all went home smiling with a promise to work assiduously for the victory of the party in the gubernatorial election.
Addresing the gathering on behalf of Honourable Fatoba, the Director-General of Sola Fatoba Campaign Organisation, Chief Peter Adekunle, urged all the executive members of the All Progressives Congress APC wards in the Constituency to go back to their various wards, and get their people mobilized for both President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji’s second term in office.
The D-G who highlighted the importance of continuity in government explained that there wouldn’t be any case of abandoned project by the successive administration which has always been the case whenever the opposition party is in power.
According to Chief Magun, the Director-General of Hon. Fatoba Campaign Organisation, “we are supporting BAO for second term. That’s the position of Hon. Steve Fatoba in particular and all of us in general “.
Also, the Vice Chairman, Ado Central Local Council Development Area, Alhaji Onipede Babatunde, who said Honourable Fatoba, has always been in the habit of giving to his people as he described him as a real grassrooter, said he has been in good relationship with his people before he became member of the House of Representatives.
Alhaji Onipede opined that Honourable Sola Fatoba believes in developing people, saying he has been developing people for long.
“This is not new. When he was not even in the National Assembly, he has been doing a lot for his people and he did a lot when he was contesting for the House of Representatives. That’s why everybody is rallying him wherever he goes “.
He therefore appealed to the exco to give their absolute loyalty to Governor Biodun Oyebanji who produced Honourable Fatoba as member of the House of Representatives, as well as President Bola Tinubu.
In their separate reactions on behalf of other wards Chairmen, the Ado-Ekiti ward 10 Chairman, Chief Oluwole Fakorede, and his counterpart in Irepodun/Ifelodun Ward A, Chief Bode Osanyinlusi, expressed gratitude to Honourable Fatoba for the gesture which they said would spur them to do more in keeping the flag of the party flying.
