A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ayede/Itaji Ward, Mr. Mobolaji Johnson Adeyeye, has obtained the party’s nomination form to contest for the Ekiti State House of Assembly seat representing Oye Constituency I.
Adeyeye, who visited the APC State Secretariat in Ado Ekiti alongside party stalwarts from Oye Local Government, was received by the State Chairman, Mr. Sola Elesin.
Speaking after obtaining the form, Adeyeye said his decision to join the race was driven by a desire to improve the living conditions of his constituents at the grassroots and to contribute meaningfully to democratic governance.
He appealed to members and leaders of the party to support his aspiration during the forthcoming primaries, expressing confidence in his ability to emerge as the party’s flag bearer for the constituency.
Among party members who accompanied him to the secretariat were Mr. Ayodeji Daramola, Mr. Kolade Adeleye, Mr. Kayode Ayegbusi, and Afiz Junad.
In his remarks, the APC State Chairman, Mr. Sola Elesin, assured all aspirants of a level playing field during the primaries, while cautioning against actions capable of causing disunity within the party.
