The Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ilupeju-Ekiti, Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and his Deputy, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, on their inauguration for a second term, describing the governor’s re-election as a historic achievement.
Oniyelu, in a congratulatory message made available to journalists, praised Oyebanji for breaking the 23-year jinx by becoming the first governor in Ekiti State to secure re-election for a consecutive second term.
He attributed the governor’s historic feat to his leadership style, commitment to good governance and dedication to the welfare of the people, noting that his administration had continued to promote peace, unity, inclusive development and the delivery of democratic dividends across the state.
The Ifeloju LCDA chairman described Oyebanji’s leadership as superb, expressing confidence that his second term would provide an opportunity to consolidate on the achievements of his first tenure and accelerate development across the state.He said the governor’s successful return to office had further strengthened the confidence of Ekiti people in his administration, expressing optimism that the next four years would bring greater economic opportunities, improved infrastructure and better living conditions for residents.
On behalf of the people of Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju-Ekiti, Oniyelu wished the governor divine guidance, protection, wisdom and favour as he commenced another four-year term.He also prayed for God’s strength and courage for Oyebanji to fulfil his promises to the people, overcome the challenges of governance and achieve greater milestones in the overall interest of Ekiti State.
The council chairman reaffirmed the support and goodwill of the people of Ifeloju LCDA for the Oyebanji administration, expressing confidence that the governor would sustain policies and programmes that promote grassroots development, peace and prosperity.
Oniyelu wished Oyebanji and his deputy a successful and impactful second term, expressing hope that the administration would build on its achievements and leave a lasting legacy of progress for present and future generations.
