The lawmaker representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II (Moba/Ilejemeje/Ido Osi) in the House of Representatives, Akinlayo Kolawole, has formally obtained his nomination form, declaring his intention to seek re-election and expressing confidence in emerging victorious at the polls.
Kolawole said his decision to pursue a second term is anchored on the need to consolidate the gains of his first tenure and sustain ongoing development efforts across the constituency.

Speaking with journalists shortly after picking the form, the lawmaker expressed optimism about receiving overwhelming support from party members and constituents, pointing to what he described as his strong record of legislative performance and grassroots engagement.
He noted that his representation has been defined by impactful constituency projects, people-oriented interventions, and consistent advocacy for policies aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
Kolawole further assured that, if re-elected, he would intensify efforts to tackle pressing challenges within the constituency, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic growth.
